Summary: Perfect back yard projector. Easy set up, all the right ports and hooked up to an old boombox for bigger sound. I have had it for 3 years now. Highly recommend for when the big game is on and you're able watch outside with the guys, grill going and stogies burning.
Summary: Bought it one year ago. Using it almost everyday cons: only one HDMI port ( I need two or three) can not make 3D work (i am the problem may be) - no 3d with Visio-3D-blueray player little noisy, little heat seed is big (seen from 2 feet) can not program to obey other remotes PROS HUNDREDS OF HOURS OF HIGH DEF CINEMA-AT-HOME for the price of mid-range TV COLORS, BRIGHTNESS can take some abuse (used it several times in a back yard, projecting on house wall) very cool toy...
Summary: Now this product I DO love! Price to performance it out-guns the competition. I was going to rent a projector for three day @ $150 a day. This unit cost less than that to buy and now I have it for future events. Tested it out right after receipt. Sharp image, VERY bright, crisp, no ghosting, quiet and easy to run. Plugged it into my MacBook via the HDMI port through a Thunderbolt adapter and it immediately came up. No fuss, no muss.
PC/HDMI? Forget your bluetooth audio - Problem solved!

Summary: Picture is fairly clear. Menus are counter-intuitive. No one should have to hit back multiple times to scroll through this simple of a menu. Also, I have a bluetooth sound system hooked up to my pc. If you hook up to this projector via HDMI scratch that. The audio pumps straight to the projector via hdmi as opposed to bluetooth audio. While I'm on the audio, there is no 'off' menu item for the projector speaker. Only a 'mute' function.
Summary: This projector is excellent! For $430.00 it's brighter than almost every other projector I've seen, including ones upwards of twice it's price. I have this projecting on a light yellow wall right next to a window and even during the daytime the picture is bright and clear. The picture quality is amazing, especially once you realize that there are two knobs for adjusting the focus. You can only see the pixels if you're right up against the screen.
Summary: I used this for the first time a week ago or so in my church setting, and everything worked perfectly. I especially like the larger 1024x768 resolution on it. I also bought it specifically because it has the multiple video inputs. Only thing that would be better (ViewSonic: please listen) is if the projector could auto-sense the active video input. My 15 year old projector that died on me could do this.
Summary: no need for a long write up here..projectors shoping is like cookie buying..a lot of diff.items out there. but this one has my 4:3 screen aspect, + zoom in out control...i dont like 16:9 bar on top and bottom of my 4:5 120 imch screen. the controls help eliminate that with little loss of the side of the movie...and great 3d....u need a convert 3d box like optima 3d xl and a 3d sorce..bluray 3d ect....this one throws out a lot of heat...but i keep my theater cool.
Summary: I like it because it's doing the job very well. But if you wanna have a square image you have to put the projector perpendicular to the screen, you can't adjust only one side of the image (let's say left side: to bring closer the top and the bottom only on the left side)
