Summary: I've had this projector for a few months now. I have it ceiling mounted outside in Florida. Even with bright indirect light, the picture is clear. I would have liked the specifics of the throw. I have it mounted about 12' away from my screen, and it fills out to the equivelent of a 60(ish)" screen. The only drawback I really have is the Audio out is by 3.5mm.
Summary: for not a lot of $$ you get a decent preforming projector. I realized later there was a smaller lighter version for only a few dollars more and would likely get that version instead of this one, but it is a decent size for hauling around produces decent images at 1080i off a hd source. I havent tried the 3d function.
Summary: This was another first for me so I contacted a friend that helped me pick this out. We use it for business- education both internal and external, and also for our webinars with staff. We use a screen and have no trouble seeing it even with the lights on. My only concern is that the projected picture is not square- it has an elevated point on the top left side that no amount of adjusting on my part fixes it.

Summary: I was looking for a bigger TV when I decided to go with a projector. I found this one and it is perfect. Great picture quality and I have it set to its near maximum size, with no loss of definition. Although there is one down side I found, which if you plan to buy for this specific reason(doesnt make much sense) you wont like this.
Summary: This projector is small and compact easily transportable and presents a clear picture, although it does have a HDMI port it is definitely not High Definition but it still makes it very convenient to hook up your PS3 for some big screen game play.
Summary: The price point of this projector made it a no brainer as I persued a 3D home theater that didn't put a big dent in the wallet. 3D ready with HDMI input under $350 makes this projector a real value. Combined with the Optima 3D-XL converter and PS3 I now have a sweet setup. Avatar is insane!!! Reason for the star drop is due to the streaking associated with high action HD television. Not always noticeable and not a huge issue.
Summary: This projector is my 3rd from view sonic, so far I have not had a projector last more than 3 years before they go out for some reason or another. The quality is fantastic on this one. The picture is great and the colors are bright with out being washed out. I have it about 15 feet from a wall painted ultra flat white and its as good a picture as a Walmart vizio. 60 to 120 hz is good plus HDMI input to boot.
Summary: The shipping was great for this product! I opened up the box carefully incase I needed to give it back. I plugged the projector into the wall, and turned it on. I was actually liked the quality, it was very good. So I hooked it up to my PS3, then turned it on, and it was still very good! So now to the bad thing: The sound quality on the projector is really bad; it's too quiet and sounds really bad.
Summary: I have been using this for about 6 months now and love it. Good quality picture when watching movies but the darker scenes tend to make reds stand out a little more for some reason, like their lips and sometimes faces look darker red than usual. I've tried adjusting the color but to no avail. But most of the time the movies I watch don't have any dark scenes so the quality is very good. All in all, I think I got a good deal for the price.
Summary: It's a great projector for the price, and it makes my life so much easier as a teacher. I use it every day in my classroom. I use the VGA connection into my Macbook, so I can't really speak of the HDMI persay, but one thing I have noticed is that some of the color hues seem to be off a bit. For example: Yellow seems to be more greenish in hue, pink is more red, etc. I can live with it though. I didn't want to break the bank, so this projector works fine for my needs.
