Bright picture, great value, long throw distance, hardly any zoom adjustment.

Summary: Great projector for the money - bright enough for a room with windows, and very clear using the a DB25 computer connection with a RGB pigtail. The only real downside - the zooming feature is basically non-existent and the throw is extremely long for a small projector. For my 132" screen I had to place the projector 17 feet back! For a 120" screen you have to place it 15'7" back. You have to calculate your screen size and mounting distance when using this projector.
Excerpt: I made a budget of $ to buy a projector. After comparing everything in that range I decided that the sonic pjd5132 was worth the extra $. And nothing at the $ range can touch its clean picture. Very pleased!!
Awesome projector for the price, very bright and clear

Summary: We compared this projector side by side to two Epson projectors and a mini. Although small, this was the biggest one we tested but it is the one that I buy for all of my instructors now because it is the best value for the price. We teach continuing education classes all over the country.
Outstanding Projector, blows away a real theater's picture quality..

Summary: Great projector, however, I have only had the chance to use it once. I bought it for a classroom setup and month later the school installed projectors so now I am most likely going to sell it. The one time I did use it the image quality was better than looking at something in a movie theater, obviously HD and so forth.
Pros: Very bright display - works well even in well-lit conference rooms. Bought it for presentation use, but it also works great for movies as well. The price is absolutely unbeatable. I'm very happy and would definitely buy this again.
Cons: Can't quite figure out how to get the remote to work for advancing slides, etc. but that's just me. Display is only 800x600 - which I knew going in, and it hasn't been a problem for me, but may be a deal breaker for some.
I'm returning it because what I wanted was something easy and flexible to hook up to various media for ...

Summary: I wanted to save others some time and effort on this product, because I spent a day running around for connecting cables. I wanted to hook this up to my DVD player, but the only port out of the DVD player is HDMI, and despite buying an HDMI-to-VGA connector, it didn't work. I don't have a laptop and neither my Dell desktop nor my Apple desktop has a VGA port.
Summary: Bought the projector for ministry use. It is good for simple stuff and showing videos, but I have a hard time seeing the picture if it is a darkened scene. It works for what we wanted it for, so we are happy!
