Summary: I've used my ViewSonic for 3000 hours, and so far, so good! It's a great projector for the money. It's replaced my TV. Now, everyone loves coming to my house to play games and watch movies on the big screen. Get it, it's worth every penny!
Solid entry level projector from a respected maker, at a reasonable price.

Summary: I bought this projector to use for fraternal association meetings (hall gatherings of up to 100 people) and home theater. ViewSonic is a well-respected designer/manufacturer, with a very good selection of projector models and pricing. I won't bother talking about all of them here. You can see all their current models on their website, and also see spec sheets and other support data for most of their discontinued models.
Summary: Pay for... basically. I've had this since December, nevermind that i ordered it in the middle of November... but anyway, (Since Dec2010). It worked great for about 3 days, after that the image started getting rainbow-colored with lots of greens and purples surrounding all parts of an image. I wanted to return it but company wanted me to pay shipping. That's why I never go through anyone other than an Amazon warehouse usually, but the price was right.
Summary: This Video projector works fine and the order was processed very well and delievered on time. The protection packaging is very well done and I am very pleased to have a brand new projector at an affordable price.
Summary: This was my first projector purchase and I couldn't be more pleased. I took advice from another review on here and purchased a VGA to HDMI recorder. I've connected this projector to my DIRECTV receiver, my Xbox 360, and my PC and they all look great. The only thing with projectors in general is I can't seem to get 3D out of it quiet yet. Won't work with DIRECTV receivers, hard to find downloadable content on the net as well.
Summary: I was searching specifically for a short-throw projector for scenic theatrical backgrounds in a very small theatre. We were doing rear projection and had 11 feet to project at 12 foot wide image. We're in mid-run and so far the projector is working well. I did notice some flickering of the image afer running 3 hours. Thousands of hours of bulb life so don't know the problem, but it is not very noticeable. Most of these short-throw projectors are priced near $1,000 plus.
Pros: Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Great picture quality, Reliable Performance, Small Footprint
