Summary: This is a great projector, I don't have a tv anymore, I have this hooked up to my computer,WII,DVD player, and Digital converter box, projecting on a 7 foot screen. Quality is great under all formats.
Summary: I bought this projector for my church and I am very happy with my purchase. It has many nice features that allow it to be used in your home or business, just as in the product description. Anyone considering an inexpensive and great little projector will be satisfied with this purchase.
Summary: I purchased this to use for presentations at my Rotary Club meetings. It works great so far. It gives a 4'x4' picture from about 8' and is bright enough to use in a well lit room. It is very easy to use since it finds the signal from the computer by itself. It is ready to use right out of the box (just add computer). At $400, it seems to be worth every penny.
Summary: This projector has been one of my favorite gadgets I have purchased. I'm not a tech-geek - I'm not overly concerned about crazy resolution or anything like that. I just wanted something that would allow me to both watch movies and play video games wherever I wanted and produce a picture that wasn't noticeably crappy. I usually will just project the picture onto a wall in my house. Most of my walls are light colored, though none of them are perfectly white.
Summary: I purchased this projector to use with my laptob when taught classes at church. I've used several times, once at church. it has a great picture quality, quick cool down and start up time, easily transportable. As some of the others mentioned, the sound is mono but it is of good quaility. I've been using it to watch my online TV shows. Its great to watch the on something bigger than my laptop screen.

Summary: August 2008 -- All of us have used dozens of electronic products, and some are better than others. This Viewsonic projector is truly impressive: it's chock full of features, and does a nice job displaying any signal you pipe into it. I've owned it since August-08 and have 1,200-hours on the bulb. The projector has performed flawlessly as the "main televison" in the living room. It is very bright, using the DLP technology.

Summary: We built a small movie theater in our basement and wanted a projector that could provide a good projected picture. After extensive research we elected to go with the ViewSonic PJ513DB DLP Projector, and we wern't dissapointed. It has an outstanding picture and the HD performance is the ultimate. It has a bright picture that is easy to see even when there is light in the room. The only drawback is that there is no HDMI input port.
Summary: Personal Experience This little guy is pulling hard as our TV for about a year now (1600 hours on the lamp). The image quality depends mainly on the source. I tried many products to feed the VGA input with a component RGB signal, most miserably failed, however any Japanese I tried works flawlessly (no more Samsung or LG for me ever, they feed horrible pictures via component, the LG produced square shaped "o"-s on running text at the bottom on CNN).
Summary: My wife and I just hosted a movie night at a club we belong to using our ViewSonic projector, Phillips HD dvd player that upconverts to 1080! [...] In Summary: the HD Picture Quality was excellent and we got some great feedback from our movie night viewers. There are other more expensive HD Projectors out there for $2,000 and up, but I'll bet the picture quality will now be better than this one.
