Good inexpensive way to get started in home theater.

Summary: I bought this projector to replace my old one, which was exactly the same model. It is older technology but since I knew what I was getting and the price was right, I jumped on it. It is the central piece in my home theater system, and still does a pretty good job. When I bought this, my old one was beyond repair, and I was not in a position to buy something more state of the art. Buying the same model eliminated any doubts as to whether I would be satisfied with it.
Good, inexpensive projector with good brightness and color.

Summary: I bought this to use for video display during our bible study groups, as well as some family movie times. we have used it for both purposes thus far and it has worked out great. The projector is very clear, with good color reproduction. It is also bright enough to have some ambient light and still see the picture clearly. Plus, the replacement lamps are not prohibitively expensive. It's a good projector for what we needed.
Summary: un poco sucio pero esta en las candiciones mensionadas le monte la lampara y funciono. que eso es lo que espera. creo que el vendedor en el futuro deberia limpiar sus articulos para que por lo menos uno que contento con eso
Summary: Personal Experience have had my projector for over two years and have over 400 hrs on the bulb.I concider mysely luckey to have purchased this model. My only problem is I have trouble adjusting the focus, seems to be a little critical. I would highly recommend this model.
Summary: Personal Experience Good picture, easy to set up. 1st bulb lasted 2600 hours with economy mode. Heats up the room a bit during the summer. For the money ($460) a very good deal. Problems Ballast started to go bad around 2600 hours. Got a replacement lamp from retailer for $230 but ballast light still on and image quality/briteness subpar. Retailer had no more lamps. Took 3 months to get replacement lamp from Viewsonic. No charge when I finally got it.
Summary: I love this little projector cause it small enough to lock in a filing cabinet, but bright enough to be used in most any situation. Excellent value for a 2000 lumen projector, especially as it comes with a nice carrying case and all needed cables. The audio system is barely useable, however -- so don't think of this as a mobile cinema solution. And you have to fuss with the controls a bit to get the colors to look right (flesh tones in DVD movies, for example).
Summary: The projector has all the cables for every type connection. Intuitive controls, especially the power on-off which shows blinking until the fan shuts down, reminding user not to unplug until the bulb cools. Picture quality was excellent in a brightly lit room. Don't know yet about across the range color fidelity as it's only been used so far for an archival slide show that is mostly B/W. Focusing controls are simple.
