Summary: I chose and ordered this unit to replace the cool looking but non usable 3M MPRO110 PICO Micro projector. I deliberated at length over the Toshiba TDP-SP1U, the ViewSonic PJ513DB and also considered the InFocus X6 projector, which are currently priced around $400-$430. I used [...] do research and compare the specifications and get additional reviews. The InFocus X6 unit was comparable but is now out of production.
Summary: Comments about Toshiba TDP-SP1U Mobile Projector: The saying you get what you pay for is accurate. The lights better be off and the shades closed tightly for this to deliver a viewable picture. For some that's O.K., but in the real world sometimes the lights have to remain lit.
Summary: Comments about Toshiba TDP-SP1U Mobile Projector: This little projector is by far one of the best on the market today. I have used it for many conferences and family events and everyone is always so impressed with how well it portrays the slides. It’s very easy to operate and as you can see there isn’t much to it so taking it out or putting it away after an event is not time consuming. I highly recommend to anyone.
Pros: Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Great picture quality
Summary: TOSHIBA TDP-SP1U DLP Mobile Projector I am using this product to project high quality fine art for group presentations. It has been easy to use, has produced the necessary clarity and sharpness needed and has been extremely mobile. Price through Amazon was incredible.
