  • Summary: These old projectors are suitable for many things you would not think of, to include entertaining the kids while you watch TV independantly. I hooked one up to a video cable hooked into a WII, then connected the WII to an old set of comuter speakers for sound...Instant BIG screen game set.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I bought the Mt-800 (7205 by toshiba) in October and man am I happy with it. I have a Pioneer DV-47Ai DVD player hooked up to it and I'm impressed. I've done a lot of looking around at different setups and such, but so far this is the best I've seen, and it's mine. The only thing I'm kinda bummed about is the fact there's no firmware update for the Toshiba model and there is for the InFocus.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I purchased the MT800 to replace an InFocus 5000 (which I have also reviewed on this site). Having spent about 6 weeks with the MT800, I am satisfied that it is an excellent projector and worth what I paid for it. My dissatisfaction with the InFocus centered on two problems: the poor handling of motion with non-720p inputs, and the poor geometry of the projected image relative to a 16:9 screen.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I have used this device for 2 weeks now and I am continued to be blown away by how clear and crisp the images are. I use this projector in coordination with my new theater setup, this includes a Sony DVD changer, Yamaha RX-V2500 receiver. I have only used the component inputs and the VGA connector on the back of the projector.

  • Summary: Personal Experience Great projector right out of the box. Installed in time for the Olympics, which were awesome. HD detail is spectacular on a 119" diagonal HDTV aspect screen. Problems Standard ATSC (digital) pictures vary in quality, depending on transmission. HDTV and DVD material is GREAT! No reliability problems so far.

  • Summary: Personal Experience Update: Recieved a new unit from Tosbiba within a 10 days with no problems as of yet. I am giving a good for reliability because Toshiba looked after the problem. I am happy to get a new unit.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I bought this unit to replace the MT-8. I should have learned a lesson from the model because I have nothing but problems with it, in the half a year it was in for repairs 3 times. The MT-800 with 2 hours on it will not light the lamp! but the 2 hours when it was working looked awsome!!
