Summary: Personal Experience Simply put, the best PJ you can buy up to 30 grand! Just disable all the trickery including the auto iris, use it in a real black room and a 1.0 white screen no bigger than 100 and you will have the best color accuracy with no loss of sharpness and brightness. Better than JVC LCOS. If you want to spend less then 10K, go to JVC`s RS-2 but the extra 5K is worth it to get the colors this xenon lamp can give you.
Summary: Personal Experience Absolutely fantastic picture! I've had this unit for about 3 weeks now, and it's still just as amazing. Out of the box the picture was OK, but just a few adjustments (which were easy to perform) and it was incredible. The color accuracy appears to be superb, so I don't feel the need for a professional calibration, which saves lots of time and some money.
Summary: Personal Experience I had the VW100 Ruby and then the VW60 Black Pearl recently and this past Friday (11-30-07) mounted the VW200 Diamond in my theater. I loved the Black Pearl's POP but did miss the color richness of the VW100. With the VW200 I get the best of both worlds! The VW200 with its Motionflow (120hz) set to Full for sports (like NFL HD) is jaw-dropping. It really gives you that 3D sense and makes you feel like you are at the game in person.
