Some of these are best left off, but others can provide genuine picture improvements. It's a tough market out there, with highly worthy competitors out there selling for a fraction of the VPL-VW200's cost- even from Sony. Absolutely fantastic picture! I've had this unit for about 3 weeks now, and it's still just as amazing. Out of the box the picture was OK, but just a few adjustments (which were easy to perform) and it was incredible. The color accuracy appears to be superb, so I don't feel the need for a professional calibration, which saves lots of time and some money. I usually wouldn't spend this much money on a Sony product, but this is one where Sony has outdone themselves. Read more
