Summary: I bought this projector for my movie room and it was so clear that my dog thought people were inside my home. Her attention was locked on it from the moment I began to play my Season 1 of Breaking Bad in Blu Ray. The picture quality was amazing.
Summary: Personal Experience The Sony VPL-BW7 is the best value in a native 720P projector available. I purchased it at a deep discount from a national retailer. I use it for movie nights with family placing the projector on a high shelf 72" (upside down)or low table 24" and project a 100" picture with the projector approximately 11.5' from the screen (silver screen painted wall.
Summary: The Sony VPL-BW7 is the best projector you can buy for the price around USD 500. The image's quality is awesome. The device is very easy to use and lamp don't heat much. But I like most the surprise and a plus for me: automatic keystone. I'm very happy with my purchase and using it in Sao Paulo, Brazil. There are some points to improve like USB input and the design of the device should be more compact and more contemporary if its possible.
Excellent home theater projector with portability!

Summary: This is a great little projector you can lug around to friends and family to watch movies in HD (720p and 1080i). You don't need a dark room to appreciate the picture since it has 2000 lumens brightness. I only wish it had tiny speakers or some sort of audio pass-through for HDMI since you'll have to find a way to output sound from the source. This proj doesn't have any speakers.
Summary: This projector replaced my 5 year old InFocus ScreenPlay 4805, and after using it for a month, I don't consider it an upgrade. I have a dedicated theater, and was waiting for a great deal on a 1080p as a replacement for the 4805 - but I got this Sony for a 'fantastic' price, not too much more than the lamp replacement would have been for the 4805 - the replacement lamp may have been a better choice.
Summary: I bought Sony VPL-BW7 LCD Home Theater Projector few weeks ago....It's an excellent projector with clear bright picture in day and night time...The colors are awesome and it feels like watching movie in theater! I would definitely recommend this projector to anyone looking to create home theater at a reasonable price!
Summary: I bought this projector last night and I am really enjoying it. Picture quality is good and sharp. I projected this on my apartment wall without any screen, even then quality is good and enjoying movies and tv in big screen. This has HDMI input which is giving good quality of output. Only drawback is it does not have audio, but I connected this to my home theater speakers and liking it. I will post some videos/pics soon.
great overall 720p projector (and you can find it cheaper)

Summary: It is quiet enough, and picture is bright, it requires perfect alignment to take advantage of the full screen. Very limited adjustment / correction for picture. Picture is ok, but really great contrast and pop when you set the "bulb" to high (don't remember which option it was and it makes the projector a little noisier too). But overall for the price I paid for, it is awesome so far!! And it support 1280x800 natively. 720p movie from PC is awesome too...
