Summary: The projector has good visual quality, but it has very low brightness, only 1100 lumens (You normally want at least 2000). It's decent for it's age, having HDMI, which is 720p, but is read by PC to be 1080p (upscaling)
Summary: I got mine used a few months ago and it is pretty solid. I have gotten the picture really big and it doesnt lose much sharpness. The picture is nice and it is easy to use. If you can get one cheap you wont be sorry. It is a good projector for the money and the picture is just as good as some projectors costing a lot more. The bulb replacement is pretty crazy but that is part of the game. Works best in total darkness.
Summary: I do not realy like, and i though is good image color that the reason why i bought is, but is disappoint on me by the color.Other than that the machine is good and quiet, and durable, but the image color not to good.
Summary: I like the black level performance of this projector, it is comparable to several others in the same price range and many above. The only time i had any objectionable feelings about image quality was when a brilliantly white on screen image such as the sun or head lights from a car would be in the same scene as lets say a black suit or dark tunnel. For its age and availability on the used market this projector is a great entry level dedicated theater product.
Summary: This is my first projector, that I bought after months of research and reviews. It gives me very high quality picture. I have notice other projectors in functions/parties specailly after buying this one. I have not found anything better than this one. I can see the movies with during day time, they are fine. However, when dark scene comes, its not clearly visible.
Summary: This projector is awesome! The picture quality is extremely crisp and clear compared to 2 previous projectors I used from InFocus and BenQ. I use this to show photos to customers. I also like the fact that it is sooooo quiet. Sometimes, you forget that it is even turned on. The controls are easy to navigate, and the remote is straight forward to understand. I have no gripes with this unit and would recommend it to everyone.
Summary: Personal Experience I have had this projector for 1000 hours now. Up until this point I would rate it as "good". The color is not quite as good as stated and pixilation is an issue as stated in the review. Overall I was satisfied w/it until my bulb went out at 1000 hours. NOT COOL. But to be fair I will say that is was not plugged into any surge protector which could be a contributing factor in bulb life (I recommend a VERY nice surge protector for projectors-one that...
Summary: Just as described! Still under warranty, had problem fixed and works perfect. Highly recommended! Has wonderful theater display. This is a must have for anyone doing a home theater. Sony Bravia is absolutley the best of the best.
Summary: I read some of the other reviews on amazon and noticed that some people had some problems with their projector, and had to have it repaired. We bought ours almost a year ago and haven't had any problems. The projector also has around 1300 hours of use, and just today it asked me to replace the filter (it comes with a replacement filter, now I just have to find it).
