Summary: Really what I like about the sim2 projector,is the design and the image.I think its tells it all.I fall in love with the projector about 12 to 15 years ago,in a hifi shop in Danmark. Ever since then its alway on my mind.Furtheremore I new about other products, but I wasn`t crazy about them like I was with sim2.Some times I feel like sim2 has taken my mind away totally even though I have two of the same kind,I still want more of sim2.Because its the best money can buy.
Summary: Personal Experience I love this projector in terms of image quality. I think this is cinema quality, although not the latest technology. The problem is that after only 4 years of use the video board had a problem. Replacement of the board is going to be around usd$2,000. I've read another review here from someone with a similar problem. So beware of SIM.
Summary: Personal Experience i have owned this projetcor for nearly 3 years. i paid a considerable amount of money expecting it to be far better than most similar projetcors on the market at the time. However i have had a problem with flickering which is not confined to just one area of the screen. i have heard that it could be a problkem with one of the boards and also heard it could be a dust problem. if anyone has any advice please let me know.
Summary: Personal Experience Installation was temperamental. Great picture initially. After 370 hours the internal hardware went bad. The company agreed that the hours were low, but wouldn't stand behind it because the warranty had just expired. Repair cost...$1400. Had friends buy the same projector and the company had to replace it after less than 1 year. Bottom line...not impressed with the company or there customer service.
Summary: Personal Experience I have had a tremendous experience with the Sim2 HT300 so far. High def tv is fantastic, and movies, the main usage of the projector really are tremendous. The image IS theatre quality. Colors are true and rich, black levels are deep. I couldn't be more satisfied. Good on value for money because, all things considered it might be a bit pricey. Problems None.
Summary: Personal Experience From the moment i purchased the HT300, it blew my HT200 away. Naturally when you are paying so much extra, it should, even though other projectors have a higher contrast ratio, the black levels with this machine is unbelievable. Ive got a Stewarts 100 FireHawk and even normal TV viewing was excellent. Skin tones were natural, whites even on a grey screen were great and i could see no signs of Rainbowing. Is it worth the money?
