  • Summary: Personal Experience I purchased this projector from a dealer in May. I got it for about 25% retail so my value for money is higher than the rest. The PQ on the 30H is excellent, lots of pop with excellent shadow detail and contrast. 6000 hrs rated bulb life is twice most others so I can use this for a couple years while I wait for the inevitable next upgrade. Problems Quirky menus, sometimes slow to handshake with HDMI, a litte noisier than the new machines.

  • Summary: Personal Experience This projector was an easy choice for me at it's current price point, used to be a bit pricey. I have also installed a fair range of projectors especially a lot of infocus and domino, and am frequently comparing the relative models. I was disappointed to find a review on this site that compared an upmarket projector (domino30) to a cheap standard projector (sp4805).

  • Summary: Personal Experience First of all I would like to state this is not a entry level projector and to compare it to the 4805 is like comparing water to coke. I own this unit but for the record we are dealers for Sim2 and Infocus and I have installed over 150 projectors of everymake and model. The first thing everyone needs to know is this projector is designed for dark rooms only, so this review is based on complete light control.

  • Summary: Personal Experience review- very sharp clean image, colors are spot on right out of the box. whites are bright and blacks are dark. I compared this to the 4805 simultaneously to time warner HDTV- the image is sharper, the 4805 looks slightly out of focus in comparison. The color accuracy is more true on the domino. The fan noise is actually similar to the 4805.
