The Sharp XV-Z15000 is a full high-definition DLP projector with 1080 p resolution with 30 000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and high brightness built in high-gloss black design. It utilises a single 1080 p DLP® 0.65" DMD chip from Texas Instruments (TI), has true widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, 1920 x 1080 resolution, 1600 ANSI lumens, 6 segment 6-speed colour wheel, iris switchover, and two HDMI™ terminals (version 1.3 with x.v.Color).

The Sharp XV-Z15000 is a Full HD DLP Projector with a single 1080p DLP® 0.65-inch DMD chip from Texas Instruments (TI). It offers Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 30,000:1 contrast ratio, a true widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, and 1600 ANSI lumens brightness. It also features 24 Hz film mode, 6 Segment 6-Speed color wheel, and Keystone Correction, which corrects spherical, cylindrical and trapezoidal distortion of an image on a flat screen. The XV-Z15000 has two HDMI 1.3 terminals with x.v. color to ensure a secure digital connection with compatible high-definition set-top boxes or Blu-ray Disc™ players. A powered iris switchover function gives the consumer control over brightness and contrast settings with the touch of a button on the remote control, providing flexibility in varying home theater environments with different lighting situations. The XV-Z15000 includes Keystone Correction, which corrects spherical, cylindrical and trapezoidal distortion of an image on a flat screen. Furthermore, the projector offers an auto V-Keystone Correction button to automatically activate in response to the installation angle of the projector. The unit also features an RS-232C input for custom installations, and whisper-quiet operation.
