Summary: We've owned this projector since 2006 and have found it to be a outstanding portable projector. We currently have just under 2k hours and 52% lamp life remaining as shown by the built in timer. Very compact in size and lightweight make this very easy to ceiling mount as we have. The included remote makes for quick and easy set-up and enjoyment. Bright picture even in the economy mode and the four (4) video choices simplify the viewing experience.
Summary: Anyone looking for a small portable projector should look no further. It's hard to believe that such a small package could deliver such powerful visuals. My band StillSuit needed something small and light weight to take on tour, and this was the best option hands down. We use video during our performances and needed something that could fit into a variety of tight spaces depending where we were playing.
Summary: Personal Experience I bought this little monster almost 3 years ago and my bulb life still has about 60% to go. This projector is very useful for me as I use it to play my arcade games which sometimes will not sync right on a regular TV, but thanks to the wide sync range on this projector it makes it possible to sync up pretty much anything. I dont know how this lady "Marlene" used up the bulb in 3-4 months, thats impossible.
Summary: Personal Experience Great for the money, this is my first projector, and I use it to play XBOX and watch DVD movies, the image is AMAZING!! A lot of light (I use it in eco mode) Very small and light, very easy to take to a friend's house. Carl Zeiss lenses really makes the difference I have used it for 300h with no problems, once I used for 8 hour straigth (Playing Forza Motorsport on XBOX) Problems It would help to have a lense cover Useless speaker (don't bother...
Summary: Personal Experience Well this seems to run the spectrum on reviews! And yes for some old reason the cats do seem to like this unit! It's either the heat or the 37db whur. I have had over 10 projectors and I bought this one for 3 reasons: 1 wanted an ultra portable, 2 wanted something that can double as a lighting effect that is easy to set up and lastly 3 wanted a projector that I could take with me on a cruise! The light output is amasing for such a small unit!
Summary: Personal Experience I am in the Home theater business... I usually sell much more expensive units for high-end home systems... I took one of these home just to play with... I was blown-away! I think for the price, and size... it is an amazing litle guy. It's great to be ablt to easily set up anywhere in the house, or take to a friend's house or on vacation. Use it every night, have a good screen screen - looks really good. Even does well on a painted wall.
Summary: I'm new to the world of projectors, but I love this and got it about 10 months ago(april 2005). It has 2 inputs, VGA, S-Video, and Standard RCA Video-in. Mine came with a 106" draper screen and an HD compoent to VGA connector. Basically I have my Cable Box in the HD/VGA input, DVD in the Svideo, and VCR in the RCA. The HD is incredible, the DVD is amazing, and the VCR is excellent! The only downside in my eyes is the lack of DVI input, but is not really needed.
Summary: Personal Experience Very compact, good features. very easy to use and play around with settings. Problems Sometimes, the included stands that allow you to tweek the height and angle of the unit are not enough. I have to put the instruction manual under the back right stud to straighten the picture. Otherwise, money well spent !
