Summary: Every year my family has a neighborhood block party for Halloween. Our house sits on a hill and provides a natural theater, so we show old black and white movies. I have been using the projector from work but I thought it time to purchase my own. I researched price and function and picked the Sharp XR-10S. We have only used it once so far but it functioned perfect and the image was very sharp. We look forward to this Halloween and all the fun we will have.
Summary: I've had mine for over 3 years, and it's taken that long to burn out the first bulb. I like the versatility of connections and projection modes (rear, ceiling, etc). Portable enough that I have used during office meetings with my laptop. Bright enough (2000 lumens) to see nicely during daylight hours (I had an older sharp projector with only 800 lumens, and even with curtains closed, I couldn't see it during the daytime) My only beef with this product is that it breaks...
Summary: Personal Experience Image Quality: The picture quality is very good. It is sharp and the colors are accurate (especially the blues.) I used this projector in a home theater setup (well, my apt living room.) It is bright enough for daytime viewing of football games, live tv, etc, but for movies with several dark scenes, the lights need to be dimmed and the shades drawn. Features: Just about everything you'd expect. It does NOT have a digital video input though.
Summary: I bought this used, so I can't speak to how many hours the bulb went through before I got it; but it's been working great for me. We have it hooked up to a DVD player to watch movies. The picture is really sharp and bright enough to watch during daylight just fine. Can't say if it's worth the Brand New prices, but used they are a real steal of a deal.
Summary: Personal Experience great quality the best big screen experience my 10s still creams the latesest plasmas and lcds. best value by far. Also you can get multi view by connecting a high quaility tv/sat with hd/tv and multi view. i use the humax make and can get 1-2-or 4 screens on multi view.
Pros: I've really had no problem out of this projector. I felt it was a good deal. I use it in my Theater Room where it is pretty dark but, I also have windows in there. I know it is for presentations but, has worked great for me.
Cons: don't have any bad points for the price I paid I love it and wouls recomend it...
Summary: Bought it from Sam's Club in 2006. I burned three bulbs already! No matter what you do, the bulb will not last longer than 1500 hours. It is not a bad projector, but the bulb reliability makes it a very expensive projector. I spent $1200 on bulbs for a projector that cost $600.
Summary: Personal Experience its not yet been used by me, i probably want to buy something like the same, though need it for home purpose, which has got the finest output quality in terms of the VIDEO OUTPUT.
Summary: Personal Experience Superb image quality event in ambient light , I enjoyed big screen. Excellent value of money, I can't find any rainbow effect. Now going to install it in my living room (My dream of home cinema has now come true).
