Summary: Lets face it. In AV presentations, brightness is king. Now this is a bright BRIGHT unit. Lets not expect 100,000 to 1 contrast ratio on a presentation grade projector--but I watch movies at home on one all the time. They look great. What I look for in a projector is brightness--focus stem to stern, color and a lamp that won't pop in 450 hrs (if you let it cool down b-4 you unplug). I have looked at every projector on the market and most pop lamps to fast.
Summary: I can't say enough about this durable projector. I installed 3 in the last 6 months. They are bright and do a great job switching between all the various inputs. Has a serial I/F that allows me additional remote control with an Extron switchplate. A great buy!
Pros: Easy to setup. Works as a switcher quite well. Small and quiet.
Summary: Personal Experience The biggest bang for the buck. 3000 Lumens XGA and resize up to 1200X1600. Simple to use. Don't buy this if you want bells & every input on the planet. It IS a simple powerful projector that is bright. Not 3000 "peak" lumens--3000 REAL lumens. I have 6 of them--not one failure. Problems not a one.
