Summary: Personal Experience i've been using this unit in my home cinema setup for about 4 months now and can safely say that i have had not a single problem at all! It is very easy to set up, and a damn sight quieter than certain newer pjs' i can think of. It also handles HD video content via component to vga adapter without problems too, and what it can do with a basic composite feed is quite suprising considering the low cost of this projector.
Summary: I bought this pj to stand in for my Jvc D-ILA over Xmas, the lamp had gone and I couldn't afford the £1300 for a new one so close to Xmas. After 30 or so minutes I had it up and running and was surprised at how good an image it can cast. Fed with an analogue component Hi-Def image via component to D-Sub adaptor the Sanyo filled my 1.5mtr. screen with a very clear and accurate rendering of Pixar classic The Incredible.
Pros: quiet, easy to set up and tweek when needed. Picture is sharp and can be adjusted to suit any screen type.
Cons: screen structure is easily seen if you sit too near the screen, standard short throw lens limits install options. small remote.
Summary: Personal Experience I've been specifying these projectors for all the conference rooms I manage. They're well priced, simple to use and bright. Sanyo's support on these has also been top notch.
Summary: Personal Experience not verry good nothing but overheating ploblems since bought new. I have baought a used mp8755 by 3m picture quality not as good but doble the brightness and not one problem
