Summary: Personal Experience We have owned this projector for over four years. The price was great and the projector has never failed to run. The best part of this projector is the pj net adaptor which provides real time data and allows remote management of the projector. However this projector suffers from two problems. The first is the unfortunate tendency for dust to accumulate on the LCD panels.
Summary: Personal Experience We have installed over a dozen of these units and have never had a problem with any of them. They are bright and sharp. The advanced filtering system reduces the need for servicing as well. Sanyo has a variety of lenses available making this model.
Summary: Personal Experience I bought one of these for outdoor cinemas in the summer of 09, we did a 24'x18' rear projection and it was visible as the sun dipped below the trees, excellent value and good colour. The built in scan converter means the composite inputs are every bit as bright as the RGB ones, a big step up from previous models. I've been using several for the last 3 years without problems! Problems As you might expect with low cost projectors there are limitations.
Summary: Personal Experience I wish this projector were better. The price was very attractive however this projector is plagued with dust issues. Within 400 lamp hours of purchase, I had to send the projector in to Sanyo for repair since there were major areas of discoloration. Sanyo would not give straight answers about the condition of our projector and when it would be finished.
