Summary: Personal Experience I have been using the HE-3200 for over 3 years now without a hitch. I have the 92" Stewart Firehawk screen and love the picture. I'm on my second bulb. I changed when the first hit 1000hrs. With this projector you do need a darkened room. I also painted the wall behind the screen dark blue which helps with the overspray.
Summary: Personal Experience Got this projector a few months ago as a friend has the same. As soon as i saw it i had to have one.Icouldnt get over the picture quality from a dvd. Who wants to waste £2500 plus for a plasma screen when you can get a life size picture at half the price ? Iwould recommend this one to anyone who is just starting out with a home cinema.
Summary: Personal Experience If you mainly watch DVD, it can beat many others. If you have less budget try he3100 on discount price. It values your money. Problems The off switch is hard to push for me or yours if ceiling installation.
Summary: Personal Experience After a year of usage and viewing the NEC HT1000, a the HD2 Infocus 7200 projector, I am happy to say that the Plus Piano still produces a startling image for me. I think if you just stop to enjoy the movie instead of constantly comparing, you'll be very pleased with the Piano's creamy smooth images, better than average blacks and very sharp picture. HTPC via DVI is one of the secrets and keys to getting a superb image.
Summary: Personal Experience I'm in the market for a projector right now, and saw this model in action today. Was impressed with quality of image, but I prefer a vivid image, and this projector wasn't bright enough for me. Screen was not Stewart Firehawk, but regular run of the mill screen with like a 1.0 gain or something. the guy had a Stewart in the room, and he said he preferred the regular screen over the Stewart Firehawk. Screen size was like 98".
Summary: Personal Experience Have the avanti now 4 months, our first projector is realy great stuf.We like it very much, friends and family are also impressed.Nice colours and very soft image.Model is also very cut to look at it. Problems Not easy too find the best results ...but once get it right...hard too beat.
Summary: Personal Experience I have had the 3100 for nearly six months now. (you can read my review there) The 3200 is basically the same machine except for the claimed improved processing and zoom lense. The processing is irrelevant to me because I am running my DVD signal via DVI and HTPC. The PLUS PIANO series was an excellent proposition 7 to 8 months ago.
Summary: Personal Experience I am using the Denon 2800 with component connection and i am shooting on a Da-Lite wide 92'' from a distance of a 3.1/2 meters. The picture i am getting is very good with no grane at all.Superb black, better than projectors of 5000$.
Summary: Personal Experience Excellent picture using Firehawk 100 inch screen, denon 1600 dvd player and monster m1000cv cables. Equal to or better than Sharp 9000. Brightness no problem with lights dimmed. Would buy again over rptv as long as bulb is reliable.
