What an upgrade...

  • Summary: I've always used projectors mainly for movies. TV still looked better on a large flat screen. But not any more, everything looks food on this projector. This is my second purchase from Visual Apex. Two other friends have also purchased there. They provide excellent product information and support.
  • Pros: Color, Easy To Set Up, Picture quality, Quiet fan

Incredible value, best bang-for-buck

  • Summary: I've owned 5 projectors, this one is hands-down my favorite, even apart from the price (which is awesome!). Very bright, super sharp, excellent contrast, vivid crystal clear picture, 3D capable, lens memory, motion enhancement, wow factor, true 1080p. I have a 150" 16: 9 screen and this thing fills it beautifully. Everyone that comes over is blown away by my setup, and I owe it to this projector. This is actually my second one.

Great projector

  • Summary: I had high expectations when I decided on this projector and I was not let down. I ordered the projector before I even had a screen. I put the projectors image on a bare beige wall and zoomed to the perfect size for a screen which just happened to be 115 in. diagonal. I used the wall for the three weeks it took to get my screen and I was astonished at how good it looked. Once I got the screen all I can say is the projector is everything its advertised to be.

Fantastic Product

  • Summary: This gives a great 3D picture. I have a 110 drop down screen in my living room and the picture in 2D and 3D is as good as any theater. I wasn't sure if I needed to get a new amplifier and as it turned out, I did. bought a fairly good one at Best Buy for around $350. Also bought the Samsung H6500 3D Blu-ray player which also turned my screen into a smart TV. Win-Win all the way around.
  • Pros: Beautiful 3d, Theater Quality

My 3rd Panasonic, that should tell you!

Ron, projectorpeople.com
8 September 2014
  • Summary: Over the years I've gone through seven projectors, the last five have been single lens units and the last three from Panasonic. I love a big picture (20 feet) and the Panasonic has a lens to deliver it. I've had a PT-AE3000 replaced by a PT-AE7000 and now a PT-AE8000. One could say that my joy when first seeing the image from the 3000 could be because it was a shift from 720p to 1080p. However the quality shift from the 3000 to the 7000 was just as spectacular.
  • Pros: Bright picture, Great Contrast, Super 3d

Thoughts from a first-timer.

  • Summary: This is our first projector. It works very well and in ECO mode is very quiet (pratcically silent). I'm an audio professional and was concerned about fan noise. We currently use it on a coffee table right in front of the sofa, and when I'm 2 feet from it in ECO mode, I can't hear it. In regular mode, there's noticeable fan noise but as it's constant, it fades from consciousness once program audio starts.
  • Pros: Nice picture, Quiet
