  • Excerpt: This is the third home theater projector I have owned over the last 16 years and is clearly the best. It is bright enough to use during the day which makes my wife very happy. The Panasonic PT AX 100u that it replaces is great, and has given me much pleasure for the past 8 years, but this one...

  • Summary: Personal Experience my experience has been very good with this projector. I would recommend it to people who are dealing with ambient light. I dont like to be in the dark all the time and it gives you that flexibility. the unit is big but really ... who cares.

Great Experience

  • Excerpt: The picture quality for the cost on this projector is excellent. Our previous projector had vertical and horizontal lens shift, so that was a requirement so we wouldn't need to move mounts and existing cabling. This was the only product at a reasonable cost with those features.
  • Pros: Brightness, Cost, Picture, Setup
  • Cons: NONE

  • Excerpt: I bought my projector about a year ago from B&H photo. My projector is about 14 foot from my screen. I have a light gray pull down screen (92" diagonal). The picture in medium and low light conditions is spectacular. This projector replaced my old PT700. There is no comparison between the two.
  • Pros: Excellent Color And Depth, Good Remote
  • Cons: Kinda Big And Heavy

Great entry level home theater projector

3 February 2014
  • Excerpt: I just installed the Panasonic PT-AR100U in my basement & am pleasantly surprised by it. I have long debated about whether to buy a large (75" - 80") flat panel TV or a projector. I feared that I would not be happy with the picture quality of any projector that was reasonably priced.
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Great picture quality, Intuitive Controls
  • Cons: Loud fan
