Summary: Second and last Panasonic projector. Set aside the fact that replacement lamps are very expensive this projector started to shut down shortly after startup. Paid to ship to a repair facility who informed me that the lamp, optics, board, and power supply needed to be replaced. This unit was less than 18 months old and still on the first lamp. So what was left that did not have to be replaced? The plastic shell?

I project it on a 1x gain cine-grey screen yet it still manages to have a hotspot (shiny white area) in the spot where the bulb hits the screen - granted the hotspot is minute, but this does not occur even slightly with the Epson. 3. The bulb cost is more than 2x the price of the Epson bulb cost. 4.
