Summary: I've used many projectors as rentals over the past 17 years. This one has incredeble short throw. My clients love it. It saves so much on the projection footprint. I have two, and bought them both December 2013. The first burned through its bulb at 315 hours. The second just burned it at 397 hours.
I loved it, but it broke - more than once. Not reliable replacements.

Summary: I really did love this projector. Honestly, it is perfect, but the reliability has been shockingly poor. My first projector lasted 6 months before it started having issues, so I sent it back and received a replacement (the four replacements that followed this in less than 5 months have all been...
Summary: I am relieved after buying this Projector. My other projector was a long throw . When myself or someone moved around , it was showing shadows. Disturbance for other people and suffocation for the person moving. The Short throw is amazing . The Projector is now kept close to the wall screen.
Great projector for presentations in cramped quarters.

Summary: I got this to replace an aging Dell S300W short-throw projector. I'm pretty sure based on the design and specs that Optoma builds Dell-branded projectors. In any case- this was less-expensive, and works very well.
Summary: We bought this for our church lounge. Installed it just 4 feet from the 120 inch screen. Looks fantastic and easy to use. The sound is adequate for bible study, FPU and other uses. Added a Vizio sound bar for movie night. Nice projector.
Summary: The Optoma W306ST provided a clearer picture than the previous projector. Only issue is the power button got lodged underneath the lip causing some issues with turning on and off, and after running only a few hours - messages popped up stating that the filter needed cleaning.
