Great product for a church or club with a big room and small budget.

Summary: My church was replacing a broken projector and had a limited amount of money. I started looking and was unsure what I would find for our budget, when I came across the Optoma TH1600. It was almost 2 times brighter than what we had and 1080p. It was a perfect fit for our auditorium and we don't have to change anything else.
Summary: I purchased this in November of 2010. About a month ago after the unit was on there was white "streaking" across the whole screen. I sent it to Optoma and it was repaired and sent back to me in about two weeks. The picture quality is excellent (before and after the repair)!
Summary: I researched for hours and days for a projector that would be ideal for our family's outdoor movie theater. THIS IS IT! It is so well made, so easy to use, the picture is simply INCREDIBLE and I am absolutely THRILLED with this purchase. I did spend a little more than I had intended, but I wanted a REALLY NICE projector and this one is undoubtedly worth every penny.
Summary: I have had an Optoma projector before however it finally died. I have logged several thousand hours on it and the power board went out. I believe it was caused by a storm that went through the area so can't say Optoma was at fault. In my process of trying to get it repaired I found that the board that was bad in it was 'hard to come by', so I was told by a repair place around miami which I will NEVER do business with again.
Summary: Personal Experience Projector Review: Optoma TH1060 I have used this projector for about 2 months in a home theatre application, and am extremely pleased with this product. If you like projection systems because you want a big bright high resolution movie theatre sized picture, this is your next projector. This isn’t one of those whimpy “home theatre projectors that can barely light up a 8 foot diagonal screen in a totally dark room.
