Summary: Having this project for a little over a year and suddenly the remote controller stopped communicating with the projector. Changed the battery, but nothing got any better although the remote controller looks just fine. Called today (04/22/2014) the customer service and explained as noted above.
Summary: I have the projector for just over a week and WOW! It is amazing. I orginally had a Mitsibushi DLP projector and it was good but the DLP chip messed up so we needed a new one. I looked at reviews for 3 days before deciding on this one. Sometimes reviews with Amazon can be deciptive.
Summary: I'm not sure it is possible to get a better buy for the money then the Optoma Pro 260X. I will never buy another tv again as the projector image blows away both 50+ inch tvs I currently have in my house.
Summary: The Backstory Absolutely the best projector for $500 or less. I have owned an Epson Powerlite 77C for 6 years. When I bought it, it was $649 and it was the best you could get for a fantastic all around projector.
Summary: Mi primer projector y lo encuentro fantastico. Muy clara imagen, incluso en plena luz del dia se puede apreciar una buena calidad de imagen. No ruido del ventilador a no ser que se programe la lampara en modo mas brillante, el cual no es necesario para mi.
Summary: Pros: Great projector overall. All the ports needed are there. Very bright. Easily mountable and setup. Cons: Cumbersome remote. Cannot be programmed with other remote's such as Panasonic's or Onkyos. Overall: Very good average man's projector. High end features for pretty low end price.
Summary: For the price I cant be any happier. It is wonderfully bright. It was an ease to put up and I have never expected it to be so clear. This is the third Projector I have owned first was a Marantz VP-8770 450 lumen, second Sony VPL-CS6 1800 lumen now 3000 lumen for less then a 10th of what I paid for...
Summary: I purchased this projector for my man cave just prior to the 2012 "Big Pro Football Game". It arrived early and was undamaged. The projector was packed very well. I'm running an HDMI signal into the projector from an HD DirecTV box.
Summary: We have a week long meeting going on in our conference room so I barged in, removed the projector they're using and put this one in place. The other one is a InTouch I believe. This one BLOWS it away in sharpness and I was only using a VGA cable. I'm still waiting on the HDMI to come in.
