THOR V2

LELAND R., Newegg
1 December 2013
  • Summary: I'm 100% happy with this case
  • Pros: Amazing case, tons of room, looks great and at a great price
  • Cons: Is a bit heavy, mine had the white LEDs in the front fan out but I didn't need them. Shipping is a bit much almost as much as the case.

Great

Daniel Grajales, Amazon
11 April 2013
  • Summary: I loved the portability. Resolution not bad for its size. If you need bigger images, you might need a darker room. That's the only concern.

Great considering the size.

eromeu "ERomeu", Amazon
7 December 2012
  • Summary: I bought a used one and so far so good. Considering the size and what you get out of it, it is a great deal. I needed a small projector for the bedroom since my wife did not want anything on the wall.

WOW-packs a punch!

airchoma, Amazon
26 July 2012
  • Summary: Love most everything about it! Need to get the remote for it as my fingers are a bit fat so I often fumble through the menus and they only stay up for about 10 seconds so I have to do it twice almost every time. Wish they would supply the mini HDMI cable (hard to find for cheap)!!

PK-301 Great Buy!

RICHARD L. BAILEY, Amazon
17 February 2012
  • Summary: I bought this to use during my deployment to Afghanistan and I have to tell you that I LOVE IT! I really didn't think it would make the trip over here and then I figured at the most I'd get a few months of usage and then it would fail.

Great projector

John H., Newegg
19 December 2011
  • Summary: Based on reviews that I have read the pk201 looks just as good, but has a dimmer bulb so you will probably need a darker room. Vivitek also has the qumi q2 that is 3d capable with a slightly hirer price.
  • Pros: This is a great projector for the price. I purchased it along with an 80+ inch screen and have hooked it up to my htpc. The picture is very good for a projector this small. If you are looking for a portable projector, I would recommend it.
  • Cons: - As a home theater projector it will not look great with a screen much larger than 80 inches. - Best picture quality will only be achieved through hdmi mini port which allows higher resolution. I would purchase an hdmi to hdmi mini cable with the projector to hook up with a Bluray player or pc i...

Best portable display

Alex C., Newegg
29 September 2011
  • Summary: Living in a college residence in a coop program leaves me having to move back and forth quite alot, Some lug around large 60" TV's, while I put mine in my pocket. This was quite possibly my most surprising and best investment thus far from Newegg.
  • Pros: - Quiet - Nice Contrast ratio @ maxed settings - Beautiful crisp 720p/1080i picture from external source. - With the right adapters - some of which it comes with - you can plug nearly anything in - Decent audio from internal speaker - LED Backlight - Lower engergy consumption, lower heat, and lon...
  • Cons: - Composite audio is not properly decoded, resulting in crackling. Bypassing the projector however is simple enough if external speakers are present. Video displays well enough. - The projector does not magnify the picture as much as larger scale models, so it has to be further back for an equiva...
