Summary: This unit if very small and portable, I mean really small. It's pretty cool that way. However, It's kind of expensive for it's light output. I couldn't possibly use it in a room with lights on and even 50% light reduction in ambient light is just barely enough to make a power point presentation...
Summary: Good afternoon, When performing the purchase of the article, do not use until December that was to connect to project and realized that wine vga cable damaged, seems to bend it departed something. While the product is in warranty or should I buy another cable, because here in Venezuela can not.
Summary: not as i expected, yes its handy but to use for the power point you need to be connected to laptop. the picture was not that clear unless you are just a meter away, i just waste my money for this.
Summary: I received this item last week. The build on it is very nice and the projection power is quite good even in a not so dark room. Sadly, it won't work with a Mac. I've been messing around with it for a while and I finally read this on the Optma website "PowerPoint® and video file playback require a...
Summary: It is good for a business presentation with a small group of people or for an executive presentation. Brightness is less and hence not suitable for a home use. Power point presentation without conversion would have been too good as it can not project a PP without planning.
Summary: This little projector is a joy in the dark. The ability to throw in a SD card and let it play is genius. It will even pick a piece of music off the card to play with your picture slide show. Unfortunately, it is not bright enough to use in any but the darkest rooms.
Summary: Battery life is really bad. You get about an hour at bight mode. The can be charged using a USB power charger but it doesn't come with it. Needs to be in a dark room to be able to watch anything and a powered speakers is needed.
Pros: Bright, Very portable, 16X9 Native resolution, HDMI port
Cons: Battery life, only 28mb internal memory, only came with composite cables and VGA cable. Unit broke after 3 weeks and Optoma's customer service is really bad.
