Summary: Worked great for a year or so, saw plenty of use. Unfortunately after 1 year the LED has suddenly developed a yellow/green hue that renders it useless. Can't see any option to replace the LED?
Summary: Its a good product which supports iphone/ipod/ HDMI/VGA Its not great because, after the lamp life of about 20k hours, the whole projector tunrs to be a piece of junk & is OFFICIALLY reported by Optoma's customer service that "the lamp is not replaceable !!" This is not mentioned anywhere when they sell the product. They wont even tell you the lamp's product number because its irreplaceable.. So beware ! if u want to use it longer than 20k hours.. i.e.
Decent projector at the woot pricing - a bit quirky.

Summary: I bought this projector for my grandkids (3 & 6) as a special from Woot to replace my BenQ JoyBee which I prize more highly than the Optoma. The Optoma has a decent picture (although I give the BenQ the edge, the latter appears to have superior optics). The good: Good price (from Woot). HDMI connector. Lightweight (a bit bulky). Decent sound (I use a separate amplifier, but the internal amp on the projector is not bad). Quiet and runs cool.
Summary: The device is good to a certain extent but limited to a certain extent in playing only iPod Touch/iPhone Video but does not recognise browser streaming etc, which I was expecting. For ex, using iPod Touch and streaming youTube So bit disappointment in terms of versatility of the product. The screen size also less and highly dependent on distance + video resolution. I tried PS3 and unless I reduced resolution to 1080i, the device does not even recognise.
