Summary: Very portable, good image and sound for my needs. I use it in my classes, as an ESL english teacher this is very useful for me, I just add some videos to my ipod nano 5th Gen and I display in class. I love that I don't have to carry any bulky speakers around, I just toss the projector in my messenger bag, my ipod and I'm good to go!
Summary: Worked great for a year or so, saw plenty of use. Unfortunately after 1 year the LED has suddenly developed a yellow/green hue that renders it useless. Can't see any option to replace the LED?
Would be a Great Product if it actually worked with something other than an iPhone

Summary: I love using this thing with my iPhone, but when I try to hook up an external DVD player to watch on this thing through the AV inputs, I can never get the picture to actually come through. I ordered at least 3 different DVD players with different types of AV outputs, tried multiple adapters, tried ever stinking thing I could think of, but simply never could get it to work with any other type of input other than the iPhone...
Summary: Great projector for the price. It puts out a good picture from about 15 feet away outdoors. The aound is pretty good but when I connected my wireless outdoor speakers it worked great! I also liked its compact size making it easy to set up anywhere.
Summary: I bought this a little over two years ago. In that time it's been a great little projector, while hooked up to HDMI to ps3. My only real complaint would be Optoma support. Today the projector started to emit a bright green yellow tint and I believe the blue color burnt out on the led. I contacted optoma support and they told me that its out of warranty and they would replace the bulb for $89 + $100 for labor and $25 to ship.
Summary: I use this product for presentations to my students when I am away from campus. I own the projector so I don't have to worry about loaning one out. There are things I really like about it and other things that are fairly irritating. Pros Inexpensive Projection image is clear and readable (very good for price compared to other projectors) Light and easy to carry around Don't have to haul a laptop around with you (you can do powerpoint presentation directly from...
Summary: Its a good product which supports iphone/ipod/ HDMI/VGA Its not great because, after the lamp life of about 20k hours, the whole projector tunrs to be a piece of junk & is OFFICIALLY reported by Optoma's customer service that "the lamp is not replaceable !!" This is not mentioned anywhere when they sell the product. They wont even tell you the lamp's product number because its irreplaceable.. So beware ! if u want to use it longer than 20k hours.. i.e.
Summary: We bought this projector for scout use. We find it to be a great little machine. Works great needs to be in a darker room. Work with the lights on but not as good. Sound for this unit is good.
Summary: I have two kids so when we travel I use my iphone and the Neo-i. I bought a tripod to hold it and I bring some duck tape and a vinyl table cloth. I tape the vinyl to the wall of the hotel or the cruise ship and my kids can watch thier favorite shows and I can watch CNN. Everybody's happy thanks to this great projector. We love it.
