Summary: I have used this projector on the road quite a bit. It's a great size, fits in my suitcase and does a great job presenting. Even in conference rooms without blinds and sunlight, you are still able to see the image quite well. A couple of my clients have asked me about the projector and I have recommended it to them. I would definitely buy this projector again! I love how well it works and how easy it is to setup. I've used it for all day sessions lasting 8 hours plus.
Summary: Beautiful picture, even during daylight hours entering the room! The quality out of such a small package and price is just awesome! It does have speakers in it as well, but they are not the greatest, they would suffice for a presentation but not for watching movies, I would deffinatley suggest an actual sound system for using this for movies, but the picture quality is outstanding!
Summary: I bought a refurbished one, keep that in mind. I love this thing, but I can't focus the entire screen at the same time, it's either left side in focus or right side in focus (while the other is a little blurry, enough to not be able to read desktop icon text). I don't mind - I only watch movies on it. Starts quickly, turns off quickly (unlike non-LED projectors). Has a wide beam (projects a large screen even when rather close to the wall. 300 lumens is enough!
Summary: This thing is amazing. Lasts forever, super bright, throw distance is spectacular. LED means you won't have to spend $200 a year to replace a bulb. My ONLY complaint is no audio out port, which can be a bit limiting if you're planning to use it for a home theater setting. However, the new 800 Lumens model does have this, so may have to upgrade sometime soon. That said, no regrets about having this bad boy for a couple years now.
Summary: Well, it works as advertised. I've been using this for almost a year now and have had very few problems. First off, the color is amazing Second, even at only 500 lumens this looks great in dim/dark rooms (which is where we use projectors anyway right?) Things to note: -It will accept a 1080p signal, but it only projects at 720p -There's no audio out.
Summary: Yes it doesn't have audio out, that is what home theater receivers are for! For all of the above I got it on sale for $400 and would buy another at that price in a heartbeat.
Pros: This is an excellent projector, that is nearly perfect 9/10. Color, contrast, and clarity are all outstanding, motion is smooth, and the image is bright enough in the right circumstances (brighter than expected).
Cons: The projector can be picky with HDMI, and VGA input signals if not in the right format, brigtness is low (but you should know that going in at 500lm). Minor focus issue requiring a 10 minute warm-up time, set the focus and don't adjust it on startup, it will eventually correct itself after the optics warm.
Summary: Personal Experience This little projector is awesome. The image is great, and it's pack full of features. I use it for bright enough for presentations, watching movies in the garage with friends, and 90% of the time, I have it mounted to my headboard aimed up at the ceiling so I can work on my computer while lying in bed. Problems Sometimes has trouble detecting certain resolutions when switching at the source.
