Summary: for the price the lumen quality and color grade is worth it. with any projector with 300 lumens it is going to be a little hard to see in any sunlight. provide a little shade and it is usable. the speaker is so-so, and hard to hear over the loud fan. def want to connect external speakers.i have used thisas a 2nd tv to watch other sports above my regular tv.
Summary: Love this projector. Great quality. Bought this projector mainly b/c the lamp is a LED vs. a regular lamp that has a shorter life span. You will be able to find less expensive units with traditional lamps with greater ANSI Lumen and possibly better everything else as well. I think the major value add is that this unit is using a LED bulb and has no maintenance involved (as well as being small and light in weight). I read lots of reviews before I purchased the ML300.
Summary: Pros: It is great that for the same kind of money I can have a projector for a few years without worrying about the recurring cost of replacement lamps. Those lamps cost 80% of a new projector! Color is fine. It senses the orientation and corrects for it to make the video nice and square on screen. A variety of video inputs. Enough brightness a room with dim light, where note-taking can still be done. Cons: Focus tends to drift within a few minutes of turning on.
Summary: Update: === Just on the third day, the projector started to overheat. It shut down after 1 hour into watching a movie. I gave it about 10 minutes to cool down and started to watch the movie again, but this time it shut down after 15 minutes. The next time again after 15 minutes. I didn't try a fourth time though. Ever since asked Amazon to process the return.
