Summary: Personal Experience Excellent projector in every way. The picture is absolutely stunning. Have had it for 6 months now and is still brilliant. The setup was also very quick and easy, making good use of Optoma's 'Quick Start Guide'. Problems none.
Summary: Ok so we bought a while ago for our cinema room. Its good but can be noisy. One think we noticed is when changing from watching DVD'S to playing on the XBOX you have to adjust the view as its not 100% and abit pixelated. Apart from that it is a very good projector.
Summary: While I did have to replace the item once due to a sound issue- if you do not use the onboard speakers, there is nothing to complain about. Image is clear- and in my case works well with a 120" screen space. Good colors. Good blacks require proper screen and dark room- but this was expected with a projector.
Did a lot of research and this was hands down winner for price

Summary: I have used this happily for over a year. Easy to use. Easy to focus. Good instructions. Like the keystone function. Good brightness, can watch a show / film with white curtains closed. Can see it fine with curtains drawn, but unless youre outside why would you bother? Haven't used with a 3D product but works a treat with my tv or laptop.
Summary: got it for a bargain, and with minor cosmetic use on the buttons of the exterior, i actually dont care about that though. Within the settings are all sorts of wonderful things, keystone, zoom etc. But it also tells you the lamp life! which i was quite worried about having limited experience with projectors, and especially since this one was supposedly "used" but it only had been on for 26 hours!! thats fantastic THANKS AMAZON WAREHOUSE!!
Summary: People instantly speculate the quality of this product simply by looking at its price. I personally bought this product as a test before thinking of spending £1000+ on a "proper" projector. But I have to say that is not necessary anymore. This projector has all the inputs you need, it is relatively quiet, projects to a decent size and and has many technical features built into the projector itself.
Summary: I had never thought of getting a projector before as I own a 55 inch led tv, but after watching this projector in action at a friends house i was blown away!, I matched it with a 2 metre wide screen on a tripod, and combined with my yamaha surround sound I now have a cinema in my lounge! Bluray quality is excellent and upscaled dvd is great. For the price this is an amazing piece of kit and I highly recommend it.
Summary: Great little toy, small, quiet and just enough for home cinema. It's not 1080p but to be honest the quality and colour it's quite good. It's true that you can see rainbow effect but only if you know about it. None of my friends noticed that and I have also get used to it and now I can't eve see it any more. Would I recommend this to someone who wants to have home cinema within small budget? Of course!!! You can't go wrong with it.
Summary: Not being at all tech savvy I was all set to buy a cheaper Optoma projector - however my husband suggested that it would be foolish to not buy the HD version and he was right. I use this for work in a church and it gives great projection, even when it isn't very dark. The HD is good and can project film clips well as well as the more normal powerpoint slides. I am really pleased with this and impressed at the quality for the price.
