Summary: I knew this unit, it's great. you can personalize it with your own image on the Home Screen. it is reliable and strong. easy to carry. However it lacks a case for transport. easy to use, it adapts to all situations. I use it for conferences and also for karaoke on a screen three meters wide and six meters setbacks are necessary for good image quality. You still have a little dark for a visible image. Very good value for money ...
Summary: I use it for my media center and i must said that for the price that projector is quality, compared to one that I purchased almost double the price and had HORRIBLE video output. What is great too is that its not that loud and slick looking.
Summary: Personal Experience It is OK for this range of price. The colors are vivid, the white is bright. Long life time for lamp, ease to use. I used it with a lot input, PC, MAC, BlueRay, Wii, PS3, no problems. The rapport price quality is good.
Summary: Purchased the projector because I knew a bit about the brand and because it was a good price. The projector is bright even in a florescent environment. It is easy to use and the picture is very clear. I would purchase another one without reservation.
Summary: I was waiting with great anticipation for this projector and let me tell you how satisfied I am with my purchase. Please don't think I'm pulling you leg because this little bundle of joy is everything and a bad of chips! First of all, it's extremely light weight and is super easy to operate. The operational buttons on the device enable you to adjust the settings and the manual focus feature, although low tech, works smoothly.
Optima ES522: Bit of a disapointment, aboutprojectors.com
27 December 2009
Summary: Pretty much what I said in Points above. A bit of a disappointment, though to be expected at this low a price.
Pros: INSANE contrast ratio: -Whites are WHITE -Blacks are PITCH BLACK (as compared to Epson LCDs' darkest blacks being gray).
Cons: -Long Throw (Creates a very small image, even over a large distance -Menu is not intuitive and overly complicated -Range of Remote is very short (perhaps 5 feet) -Crushing of the whites and blacks (Over a certain brightness and it's ALL WHITE, under a certain brightness and it's ALL BLACK) -Image is overall fuzzy (Whereas the menu is sharp), acts like a 320x240 display when given an HD image
