Very good value for money

after58, Ebay
6 May 2013
  • Summary: I knew this unit, it's great. you can personalize it with your own image on the Home Screen. it is reliable and strong. easy to carry. However it lacks a case for transport. easy to use, it adapts to all situations. I use it for conferences and also for karaoke on a screen three meters wide and six meters setbacks are necessary for good image quality. You still have a little dark for a visible image. Very good value for money ...

  • Summary: I use it for my media center and i must said that for the price that projector is quality, compared to one that I purchased almost double the price and had HORRIBLE video output. What is great too is that its not that loud and slick looking.

Great projector

doctorjja, Ebay
8 March 2010
  • Summary: Purchased the projector because I knew a bit about the brand and because it was a good price. The projector is bright even in a florescent environment. It is easy to use and the picture is very clear. I would purchase another one without reservation.

Optima ES522: Bit of a disapointment, aboutprojectors.com
27 December 2009
  • Summary: Pretty much what I said in Points above. A bit of a disappointment, though to be expected at this low a price.
  • Pros: INSANE contrast ratio: -Whites are WHITE -Blacks are PITCH BLACK (as compared to Epson LCDs' darkest blacks being gray).
  • Cons: -Long Throw (Creates a very small image, even over a large distance -Menu is not intuitive and overly complicated -Range of Remote is very short (perhaps 5 feet) -Crushing of the whites and blacks (Over a certain brightness and it's ALL WHITE, under a certain brightness and it's ALL BLACK) -Image is overall fuzzy (Whereas the menu is sharp), acts like a 320x240 display when given an HD image

Optoma ES522 is a good buy

jasonford, Ciao
5 December 2009
  • Excerpt: We have a bijou bedroom that wouldn’t suit a large-screen telly. But there’s a big open wall in front of our bed. So I came up with the idea of a projector. At well under £300 including delivery, from a firm called Ballicom International, this Optoma ES522 has proved ideal. We have it on a shelf above the bed which allows for a 2.8 metre throw onto the opposite wall upon which I’ve pasted a couple of sheets of custom-cut white lining paper (obtained from B&Q) and given...
  • Pros: budget price, excellent quality, good bulb life, replacement bulbs not extortionate, easy to use
  • Cons: it's only an SVGA projector

Optoma, un fraude

sonygx300, Ciao
6 June 2013
