I think this Projector works great!!!! No issues with my bulb!!!
22 December 2011
Summary: I bought this projector used For 450.. when i got it it only had 320hrs on the bulb now its up to 1200 hrs still running strong! i do keep in in a good home non smoking home keeping it clean is important since the fan cooling it is what helps make your bulb last longer i also run it on Econo mode they say it should get 3000 hrs compared to the 2000 hrs if u have it off. Anyways i would buy it again.......
Summary: Personal Experience I own two of these projectors. The contrast is excellent, Resolution and wonderful. I do notice rainbow effect with the slower colorwheel. Blurring on fast action scenes of movies. I am projecting on a 100" screen and the bulb is amazingly bright. In fact with a +1 gain screen it is too bright I have to use it on eco mode. Does get rather hot after an hour of use. The size is half of my other LCD projector so extremely portable.
Summary: Owned 3 years average bulb life 400 hours. 2 replacement genuine Optima bulbs later this projector is now in the trash. Instalation was hung from the ceiling of a climate controlled computer room.
Summary: This projector has a GREAT picture! It is displayed on a fixed 110" screen, and it is perfect. We use it for sports games, Wii, watching movies. This projector has a good amount of lumens so we can have parties going, and have a lights on, and still see the screen very well.
Summary: It has a great picture, but you cannot rely on it, good thing we had a back-up. For what you pay for this Item you would think you could at least get 6 months to a year out of it before the lamp goes. This projector was babied and never moved around, always kept clean not even used that often. I feel I was totally taken for the price and the length of time it actually worked.
Pros: It is lightweight and very portable. Great Picture Too!
Cons: The lamp went out almost immediately, then you have to pay almost half the price of the projector ( total after taxes )to replace the lamp.
Summary: Personal Experience Bought the EP719 used with about 30 hours of use on it for the low price of $200, so my expectations weren't the greatest, but I was surprised. The picture is bright, clear, and competes very well with the picture of my Toshiba 51" plasma. Set up is no problem with a basic plug and play configuration, it will recognize what the source is and switch to it, or you can do it manually.
Summary: When it's working, the picture looks good. Unfortunately, after slightly over 1 year and 450 h of use, the lamp failed. Replacement lamp costs above $300. Customer service told me that they only have 90 days warranty on bulb and 1 year on projector. I heard the expected life time of the lamp is 2000 h. Will never buy Optoma again.
Summary: Personal Experience Inexpensive relative to its quality for presentations, movies and gaming. I would recommend this projector to anyone starting out in the projection experience world. Buy it!
