Summary: I purchased this to use as a very large PC monitor. Of course this made it a smart TV before TVs were smart. The first one ran for about 750 hours and quite. I bought a new bulb but it was the power supply. So there I sat with a new bulb and a good used one so what was I to do but buy a used one.
Pros: Simple menu system. While portable it does support cieling and reverse mounting.
Cons: A bit noisie and early models didn't shut down long enough for everything to cool for long life.
Summary: Personal Experience not so goog for an image from a computer... Problems You can lock source and that put you in trouble. the solution is to push few second the button "source" on your EP719r. That's all falk.
Summary: Personal Experience very happy, this is my second projector and i was amazzzzzzed at how easy it was to set up and was very happy with the the picture quality, even just with s video. i use it as a tv, for movies and games.

Summary: Personal Experience When I bought this projector for $250.00 from a consignment store, I didn't really think too much of it, but then I hooked it up to an XBOX360 via vga cable. Also a bluray player via hdmi to Dvi-d adapter, and the thing was amazing!!
Summary: Personal Experience This projector is excellent for hd movies, television, ps3 games and football. It is best run in eco mode and does need a little calibration. But for the money the picture simply can't be beat.
Summary: This is a terrific projector, especially for HD content. It is better at night of course, but I can watch it in the daytime with my blinds closed. I have it for three years and way past the recommended lamp life (2000 hours) and it still works great.
Summary: I purchased this projector off ebay for 150 in December and I must say for the price it simply can't be beat. The HD picture quality is comparable to many of the sub 1000 dollars with a picture that dwarfs any TV display in comparison. The product is easy to service, clean and to change the lamp in.
Summary: I've been running my EP719 as a third monitor and/or TV for nearing 2 months now and am quite pleased with its performance to date. It doesn't balk at extended gaming sessions or movie marathons, and the resolution is high enough to still see details.
Summary: Works just like advertised....although, I would recommend a higher lumines...is a bit faded when wathcing during daylight with curtains drawn. I did buy a extra-large window shade ($20) for a screen and works perfectly! I see no need to purchase some $150-$200 special screen!
