Perfect plug & play projector

Mr. S. Hill "Steve Hill", Amazon
23 July 2009
  • Summary: I was looking for a projector for our basement and for outdoor summer movies, but didn't want the hassle of having to set up a projector AND DVD player/laptop AND receiver AND speakers... If, like me, ease of set up is your top priority, then you could do far worse than purchase the DV11. Plug it in, pop in a DVD and with minimal adjustments you have an incredibly bright and sharp picture in no time at all.

Optoma DV11 DLP Projector

  • Summary: This is an excellent small room projector. If you want a full conference hall I'd suggest something brighter. For what I'm using it for it is a very good unit.

  • Summary: Personal Experience This is my first projector bought a year ago and I think it's brilliant. It has an intergrated DVD player with speakers and comes with a non-illuminated remote control and a quality fabric carry case. The construction has proved to be strong and the unit is very easy to use with socketry and adaptors to connect Games, TV and PC devices.

Home Entertainment Taken to another level

rathidinesh, Ebay
19 March 2009
  • Summary: This is a wonderful product. The best thing about it is that it has all integrated, a projector with a DVD player and speakers, so you do not have to set up the connections attach several different wires , in just a minute you are up and watching a movie like in a movie hall. The quality and design and look is good as well. I won't say its very cheap, but considering that its one of its kind, its not too bad as well. It is really worth the money.

  • Summary: Personal Experience Very good projector for the price. I use to own a $5k DLP projector and the picture quality was only marginally better. The manufactures should consider adding a second HD source and an optical audio output.

  • Summary: Personal Experience This is my first home projector and I have been using it for 2 years (actually its older brother the DV10 which is essentially the same machine). It is a 480p native resolution, but it handles 1080i and 720p like a champ! Like I said, I have had this for 2 years and it is still enjoyable for HDTV, DVD and gaming.
