Summary: The built in DVD player and speakers are good and very practical, which makes it a good unit overall. The problems are: 1) The resolution could be a little better. This 800x600 doesn't match my needs anymore. 2) It doesn't come with a VGA cable. Shame on you, Optoma! 3) Optoma tech support does not answer my e-mails. Shame on you, Optoma! 4) The zoom function is almost useless. So you need to move the unit back and forward to adjust the image size.
Excerpt: This is the product to choose if you don't have space for a dedicated movie room or don't want a great big LCD TV on your wall (after all, do you really want to watch Coronation Street on a big screen?). With a fantastic big picture, that frankly dwarfs large screen TVs, a built in DVD player and two built in 5 watt speakers, the DV11 is a one box cinema solution that can be packed neatly away at the end of the show.
Pros: Great picture and sound . Portable . Comes with carry case . Reasonable price . Vertical keystone
Cons: Lacks useful connection leads, small amount of 'arcing' . No Horizontal keystone .

Pros: Built in DVD player, no need for wires linking up dvd players laptops etc
Cons: Nasty looking shape, cant be ceiling mounted effectively
