Good compact system!

  • Summary: Great compact system - has a built in DVD player and speakers! Can run a little warm sometimes but not a big issue. A good product for movie nights that'll reduce the amount of stuff you'd have to bring - IE a separate DVD player and speakers...

Awesome small compact home theater in one package.

  • Summary: Best projector for the money hands down. There is only one downside that we have noticed is that you have to place it low to project onto a screen on a garage or other walls etc. Very bright and well built.

Great and Reliable Product

  • Summary: I bought this projector about three years ago and I got it shipped to me while in Iraq, we watched movies on it constantly and took it with me to a couple of places. I now have it currently with me in Afghanistan and the projector still works like it first did straight out of the box. Obviously some scratches here and there, and i haven't had to replace the lamp once yet. Being my first projector i think it was a great buy and i couldn't ask for anything better.

Optomoa LCD VP800 Projector

jsalway2000, Ebay

  • Summary: I especially like the value, the extremely cheap bulbs and ease in changing a bulb as the spare in self-containeed, the ease in set up and operation. I use the long life bulbs and have had only one burn out. I use a S-video cable attached to my laptop and give lectures somewhat regularly and the only drawback I see is the noise of the cooling fan in a quiet room and the clarity of a long focal distance.

Forget the LCD and Plasma. This is what you need.

  • Summary: I bought the Optoma DV10 more than 2 years ago. I have watched several movies, linked my TV to the projector to watch shows on the screen and what an amazing device. This is one big reason why I am still happy with my 20" TV and did not feel the need to go for a larger LCD/Plasma TV. Quite convinient and quite easy to get started. I've even taken this to my friends place just like I would carry a laptop, and played it on their wall.

Awesome Home Projector, OPTOMA DV10

netzebra, Ebay
6 November 2008
  • Summary: I LOVE this projector! this is my 2nd purchase to have one as a spare. I had to send my unit in last year for servicing and not even a 54" Plasma TV would do after watching this 6 foot screen! This unit is easy to operate and has the DVD player on top, which I like MUCH better than the newer model DV11 which the player is in the back and since my player is mounted on the wall behind my sofa, we would not be able to get a dvd in and out, what were they thinking?

Excellent!

J Dunn, Amazon
7 August 2008
  • Summary: I have had this projector for well over a year now. It is absolutely wonderful! I use it for movies occasionally, but it's primary function is to be dragged all over town for people to play Halo on. It may visit 3 or 4 different places on a weekend (360 over one shoulder, projector over the other!) and there has never been any problems. Works great, picture is awesome, sound is excellent - better if you plug in speakers but certainly workable without.
