Summary: Having done a little research on the item prior to purchasing I felt confident with my purchase. This has lived up to all my expectations, I'm not sure why I didn't buy one when I bought the projector!! Oh well you learn from these things. If anyone has any doubts then put them to one side. This is an awesome piece of kit, it's not intrusive or bulky but oh how it will make your movies come to life.
3D home cinema- not as good as Real 3D, but 2nd best is good enough for me!

Summary: Ok, so I can't say that my set up is better than any alternative, but I can say that my setup works, and provides, what feels to me, to be as close as I can get to a true 3d cinema experience at home. A lot of these reviews assume you know what you need to make 3d home cinema work for you, my review assumes you know what I knew - basically what 3D cinema is, not so much how to re-produce it at home.
Summary: Having had the 3D converter for a while I can honestly say it does do what it says, but having no remote control and having to press bottons over and over to scroll through to want you want, is a pain now the projector I have (optoma 600x) is fine and as I said the converter does what it says but I have found that I can't watch it as it gives me a splitting headache tried to watch the Olympic closing ceremony on BBC and could only watch for less than an hour and was far...
Summary: This product has added a further dimension to my home cinema. The projector and adapter units combined with a 3D DVD/Blu-Ray player are quite versatile and instead of transporting a large TV about, can be dismantled easily and transported in the smallest of car boots!
Summary: If you have a compatible DLP projector, then this adapter is a must. The quality of the stereoscopic effect is the best I have ever seen. Screen objects have a true depth, not just a series of flat layers, as some 3D televisions appear to have. The adapter accepts a number of different 3D inputs, including side-by-side and 3D BluRay, and is just the right size to fit under my Optoma projector.
Summary: Having brought one of these I really can't imagine why anybody would buy a 3DTV when you can get a Projector and a 3D-XL for about the same price as a 42 inch 3DTV or even cheaper There is still very little 3D material available so a 3DTV will not get a great deal of use for its high price The 3D-XL is compatible with Blu-Ray players, PS3 and SKY 3D why settle for 42 inches when you can have a 100 inch screen for about the same price
Summary: Be aware! The product didn't work in 3D at all at first. I'll write to the Optoma support department about this because I'm sure this is not normal behavior. When I got the little box (by the way, awesome speed and professionalism Amazon! Truly awesome!) and tested it, it only worked in 2D.
