Great projector!!! Teachers- take a close look at this one!

Summary: I had been looking for weeks for a good, inexpensive projector for my classroom. I am both a classroom teacher and a professor at our local university. Science is my area of expertise and I love using technology in the classroom. I invested over $1,000 in 2005 for a Boxlight projector. I used it until it broke down on me (which was a year ago). This past school year, I was asked to develop a special program at our school so I was not using educational technology.
Great deal and great working projector, did exactly what I expected.

Summary: I was looking for and inexpensive projector that would work for my familes personal use. This was and excellent deal. It hooked up right out of the box and was up and running. It was like a plug and play. It recognized my device and was working without having to push a lot of buttons. I would highly recommend this devise for anyone who wants a great deal and a great working projector.
Summary: Personal Experience We bought this projector for church use. It has been great! We have had it for two years and no problems. We present worship songs, power point presentaions and watch movies with it. We have been ver happy with it. Problems The romote is a little weak.
Summary: Personal Experience Outstanding multi-purpose projector. I use it for both business presentations and movies. Nice sharp picture and bright too. I'm surprised at the contrast rating b/c I get really dark images as well. It is very quiet too. The form factor is nice as well. It is rugged and easily transportable at the same time. I am sensitive to rainbow effects (DLP machines) so this was the best alternative for me. You can't go wrong with this model.
Summary: Personal Experience I bought this projector in Oct 2005 and all I can say is WOW! Picture quality is outstanding. The auto keystone is a big plus. Very quiet projector. The economy mode with 1900 lumens is brighter than most other projectors offer at full brightness. I did not notice any screen door effect with my 10' screen. Maybe if I look hard enough for it, I might find it. That's only because I've been reading a lot about LCDs and DLP projectors.
Summary: Personal Experience I got this projector as a replacement to the LT245 because, much to my dismay, I found out I am one of those people that can see the "rainbows" on DLPs. So most of my review is comparing the two projectors. I also use an older version of this model at work (NEC 660) and have viewing experience with the BenQ 6100 and the Sony VPL DS100.
