Summary: Personal Experience Dropped the projector from 8'foot onto tile floor while attempting to ceiling mount in a classroom. Parts of the case broke all superficial. The projector still running fine after 3 years would recommend it for any road warrior who drags a projector around. This thing is tough!!! Image quality is decent.
Summary: Personal Experience I use this projector as a home theater projector and it's quite good. I'm especially happy with the economy mode as I've gotten over 5000 hours so far off the bulb and it's still running strong. Problems Dog ate remote control, stupid dog.
Summary: Personal Experience On the most part, it has been a good machine. We've had it for almost 2 years and have just started experiencing problems the past few months. Problems On-screen color keeps turning to pink. It doesn't always recognize the input from the computer or laptop. Have inquired about service.
Summary: Personal Experience This is the best projector for the money. Has a short throw lens that allows you to project image from a close distance to save space and allow more light to reach the screen.
Summary: Personal Experience Excellent image quality. (Colour is a little bias on green according to my own tests - but this is typical on most projectors in general; User Mode can help correct the problem) Overall: I have had this projector for 6 months, I wanted the 660k model, but it wasn't available (has higher lumens 2000 compared to 1800) But as a mobile presenter I think the extra 200 lumens, although nice, would make the projector take longer to cool down.
Summary: Personal Experience I use the VT660 to display graphics. It is excellent in this respect. Text is less good but acceptable. It has a neat clean experience and after approx. 6 months use has proved completely reliable. I would recommend it for its excellent colour reproduction alone. Problems None.
