Excerpt: We are not "home theatre" people but do like to watch a good movie on a bigger screen and wanted to get out from under having a TV sitting around that we only used to show DVDs.

We plug in our computer and adjust to a lovely large wall space we have....and we're very happy with it all!

Our room is dark, so whatever issues with lumens others note we don't have at all.
Pros: Clear Display, Quality Construction, Quiet, Value
Summary: I bought this projector to do presentations after my very old but reliable NEC MT1000 died. While having some kids over for my son's birthday, I decided to put up a portable screen and hook a DVD player to the projector in my family room. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the picture! Just for fun, I hooked up my FiOS receiver via HDMI, and was stunned by the quality of the picture. It may not be 1080P, but you wouldn't know by looking at it.
Summary: I use this for work and it's really bright and works great. The only thing that could make it better is another adjustable foot in the back. The 3 point balance system sometimes doesn't work to even out the picture on uneven surfaces.
Summary: Connect to your laptop DVD player or Apple TV a big outdoor screen for less than 70.00 on eBay the bigger the better have a great outdoor fun with friends it's worth every penny .go a refurb on eBay for 300 must have the hdmi plug watching a movie outdoor is a blast the picture is amazing must have a good sound system dj or sorround sound or a guitar amp minimum
