  • Summary: Personal Experience We bought for our camera club, so we require true color projection, which is excellent. Member tripped over cord and send it crashing to floor. Thanks to DLP being far less fragile than LCD, we picked it up, set it up and have continued with no problem.

LT30

  • Summary: I picked up this projector to do PowerPoint Presentations back in January and it's served me well ever since. Someone dropped it on the floor last week and broke the lamp inside. So I ordered a new lamp and we'll see if it still works. If not I'll just buy another one and I'll have a spare lamp for when the next one finally dies.
  • Pros: This is a nice projector, overall, it's basically what you want in a projector. Never had any problems with it after 6 months.
  • Cons: The lamp died after 6 months, but only because someone dropped the projector. Not very durable since it's the only time it's been dropped.

  • Summary: Personal Experience Looking for a top dog portable crossover with dead simple operation and best in class image? The LT30's bigger brother (LT35) is PCWorld's top rated projector beating Sharp XR-10X, Optoma 719, HP mp2210. The LT30 is 10% less watts than the LT35 for 20% less price. Quite the value. I'm rainbow sensitive but have not yet seen a single rainbow. Convergence, screen door effect are all excellent.
