Summary: Awesome projector and a great deal.A new lamp costs under 200 and at 2500 lumen s high 2000 in econo mode and wow what a great picture even in the evening sunlight. the pj is net-workable wired or wireless has more inputs than anyone could need, its a little out dated but for our back yard theater its perfect! highly recommend this or any nec pj!
Summary: High-speed wireless enables audience members to collaborate and review information during meetings and even send images from their computers to the presentation projector for display. Perform remote diagnostics, send data through the network to remote locations or present from a computer located in another part of the building...the LT265 makes it all possible and easy.
Summary: Personal Experience We have 4 of these projectors mounted in the conference rooms at the office. I have felt that these projectors don't live up to there specs. in brightness. I have also felt that the deepness of the colors on this projector is pretty poor. For example, this projector has a hard time displaying a bright red, at best it comes out a maroon color. All 4 projectors seems to have a blue tint to it and there is no setting in the menu to adjust it enough.
Summary: Personal Experience I bought this projector because of its brightness and the wireless feature. I used it mostly for PowerPoint presentations and video clips in my college classes. Outstanding image. If you are educator, you may wish to consider it's sister projector LT245 which has a shorter focal lenght lens. The best part of using this machine has been the wireless card which eliminates the wires from the project to my laptop. Very good DVD picture quality at home.
Summary: Personal Experience I use MS PowerPoint with maps, stills, MPEG videos and colorized drawings. This DLP projector does NOT reproduce the color detail as we see it on our PC's and LapTops. Thus, I am very disappointed in the LT265 image, and would not recommend it to any using MS PowerPt. Get an LCD is will be much better. The wireless feature of the LT265 is nice, but without a good image, I'm dead in the water.
Summary: Personal Experience First projector purchased. Purchased for home theater in main room of home. Throw distance 20ft, ceiling mount, image size 135" diag. 4:3. High ambient light during the day until we get curtains up, but good brightness and contrast except when sunlight shining directly in and onto screen late in the day. Much lighter than I expected, body seems a bit thin, but still solid enough. The auto-keystone is amazingly good.
