Summary: I bought this projector back when I had a loft with a big wall to project movies on, and this worked perfectly. I set the projector up off to the side of the sofa/chairs/table and the anti-skew technology worked perfectly. You couldn't tell that the projector was off to one side. I chose this projector not only for anti-skew, but also because it is relatively quiet compared to other ones that came out around the same time, it is bright, and because it looks slick.
Summary: Personal Experience Meny of them are installed in our campus, replaing Sharp, Infocus and Proxima projectors. And they are great. Small, reliable, excelent picture and better then any projector we had, so far. Problems Nada.
Summary: Personal Experience I've had the LT245 for almost a year now and I haven't had any problems with this projector. It starts up fast, it's quiet, and the image quality is fantastic. HDTV looks amazing- shows like "Rome" and "Lost" look as good as film on the wall. (You may need to purchase a component to vga adapter to use HD since the projector doesn't have a regular component in connection.
Summary: Personal Experience Nice projector but it is NOT wireless!!! Problems Most sites state that this prjector is wireless READY when in fact it is wireless COMPATIBLE...To use it wireless via WiFi you must purchase a $100 add-on pcmcia card...and it is PROPRIETARY. In my opinion it is false advertising to state it is ready when you have to purchase more items to make it work.
Summary: Personal Experience i love this projector except for the menu. it drives me nuts whenever i need to switch for ceiling to table top projections because i can never find the setting for flipping the image. it should be a button on the outside instead it is buried deep down in some obscure menu. imagine the frustration of trying to navigate deep into menus with the picture upside down. nec better fix this with a software update.
Summary: Personal Experience I bought this projector after doing lots of research (and after finding reasons NOT to buy a much cheaper Optoma projector). After over 1000 hours of use, I think I'm qualified to say I was right to buy it, despite the price tag. The quality is great and playing an HD movie trailer on it just blew me away. Unlike many people, I use this projector as a monitor replacement.
Summary: Personal Experience Awesome projector, recently used it in conjunction with another more expensive projector & this one blew that one away. Great value for the $$$. Lots of options & features. Especially liked the picture viewer which we used for weeks in lieu of a computer to project the slides.
