Summary: Personal Experience I have owned projectors over the years but this is the best one so far. I bought it used and can't say enough about it. Super bright and lovely contrast. I would buy another one in a heart beat. I put it alongside my Samsung TV and picture was a great.
Summary: I bought a Mitsubishi projector and really thought I paid a fair price for a well used item. However, after I paid for the item, we had to wait at least a week without hearing about shipping information from the seller. They did finally ship it, but only after I contacted them to ask when we should expect it to arrive. It was not packed well, and the front adjustment legs had both been damaged in shipping.
Summary: Personal Experience In general I will say this is a bargain right now if you can find it. I use this projector in a brightly lit white room with a 120" Draper Luma High Contrast Grey Screen and it looks fantastic. I think the complaints I've read about poor contrast have more to do with the user not tweaking the settings. The picture is very sharp and the pixels can only be seen from 2 or 3 feet away. It is very quiet and very sturdy but heavy.
Summary: Personal Experience This unit doesn't seem to last very long. Not reliable. Problems This unit is being used in a church. It is setup as an overhead mounting. We are on our third replacement. We estimate that we have just a total of 2000 hours. The unit starts fading until you can see the images very well. All we get is "we'll send you a rebuilt unit because you are still under warranty".
Summary: Personal Experience I can only compare this with epson powerlite 7250 - 1200 ANSI LCD projector I own. Firstly this projector has a nice big lense and seems very well built. Very quiet, and very bright. I am going to try out thier DLP and post on that one when get the chance. This projector can be watched in a sun filled room!
