Great inexpensive projector

The Hound, avsforum.com
13 May 2013
  • Summary: I bought this projector right after they came out. At the time I was looking at a 31" HDTV for 700, 800 dollars. When the Mitsubishi’s went on sale for 700 I couldn't resist, screen size was now not an issue. My theater is my living room so brightness was a concern.
  • Pros: Picture quality, price,
  • Cons: bulb life

Great projector of nearly 6 years

  • Summary: It brought the movies into my living room. I am able to create a 10ft image (diagonal) and coupled with an adequate sound system, you have a home theatre. My favourite appliance, after my automobile.

Still a great projector after all these years

Pen Name, Amazon
7 September 2012
  • Summary: Purchased a refurbished version in excellent condition. Still a great projector after all these years. 720p is the sweet spot for downloaded and streamed content IMO for current internet infrastructure. 5GB download for a 1080p TV show? No thanks. Cons: 200W(?

  • Summary: Personal Experience I bought this when it first came out some 4 years ago. I absolutely love it. I've used up 3 lamps now. I play a lot of online tourney's for online games through the 360 and pc and this has an excellent level of clarity. It's my second projector and I'd but this item again.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I got one of these units used and have had it for about 8 months now. No problems, good image, quiet to operate. Hard to find a true hi-def projector (1280x720 native resolution) with an HDMI input that a real person can actually afford and this is one.

  • Summary: Personal Experience This projector is relatively quiet. I have only used it with an up scaling HD DVD player without true HD and a HDMI cable but get a really good picture. I set it up one night in my driveway and cast the picture onto a inflatable screen (better to get a folding frame screen...
