Mitsubishi HC 7000

Televisions.com
19 March 2012
  • Conclusion: For the ambitious home theater, you can’t do much better than the HC 7000. Mitsubishi’s elegant high-end model not only displays HD signals in top quality — it also does an excellent job with TV programs and DVD movies. Believe it or not, it even beats the contrast on Panasonic’s PT-AE 3000, the best LCD projector yet. Our headlining criticism, however, is the slight blur in fast-moving pictures.
  • Pros: Versatile, thanks to lens-shift and wide zoom region., High native contrast and excellent automatic iris., Outstanding video processing., Great 24p reproduction., Very quiet fan.
  • Cons: Not very bright., Some motion blur.

Mitsubishi HC7000 LCD Projector

Sound & Vision Magazine
9 March 2009
  • Excerpt: The HC7000 is Mitsubishi’s flagship video projector and one of only two Diamond Series projectors. This three-chip design uses the latest C2 Fine inorganic LCD panels. It has a native resolution of 1,920 by 1,080 and features a proprietary polarizing filter designed to squeeze a bit more contrast and better uniformity out of the panels. At $3,995, the HC7000 is the most expensive projector in our roundup, and it has some great features.

Mitsubishi HC7000 Black Diamond 1080p Home Theater Projector Review

BigPictureBigSound
12 December 2008
  • Conclusion: The Mitsubishi HC 7000 projector is definitely a player. Excellent blacks, contrast, realistic colors and outstanding detail. HDTV, Blu-ray and up-converted movies were especially well reproduced here. The standard definition television, DVDs and Vudu also were very acceptable, but that's not where we spend our time. The projector itself is very attractive and the fact that the motorized lens can be operated by the remote control is very convenient and way cool.
  • Pros: Motorized lens functions make set-up a breeze, Anamorphic Lens compatible with no need for expensive motorized sled, Excellent contrast and color performance, Super quiet
  • Cons: Remote back-light shuts off too quickly to be effective, HDMI cables slip out of the input slots too easily, No HDMI output, Restricted horizontal lens shift (+/-5%) limits placement options

Mitsubishi HC7000 Projector Review

Projector reviews
19 November 2008
  • Conclusion: Mitsubishi has built a good one. No, a great one. The HC7000 is their top of the line, 3LCD 1080p projector, and from a picture quality standpoint, performs as you would expect and demand for a projector in this price range. Since the HC7000 (link to projector specifications) is sold only through local dealers, you can expect to pay more, than for comparable projectors sold online, but that all works out, if you are planning to hire a local dealer.
  • Cons: Limited brightness – just below average in best mode, well below average in brightest mode, Physical styling is very plain (for those who care), Good menu structure, but nothing spectacular, In most cases not bright enough for larger screens (over 110 inch diagonal), More user memory modes would be a plus

Mitsubishi HC7000

pcworld.pl
2 August 2010
  • Conclusion: Mieliśmy już okazję testować kilka projektorów kinowych Mitsubishi.
  • Pros: Doskonała plastyczność obrazu, Super ostry obraz, Bardzo dobra czerń i kontrast, Dłga żywotność lampy, Bezgłośna praca dynamicznej przesłony, Bardzo cichy
  • Cons: Zakres regulacji zoomu mniejszy niż u konkurencji

HC 7000

audiovision.de
9 January 2010
